THE NIGHTTIMES
BIO
The Nighttimes are the right times for heavy psych-garage rock. These five veterans of the Brooklyn rock scene assembled in Beacon, NY in 2014 and pummeled stages from NYC to Poughkeepsie until the pandemic caused them to put their fuzz pedals on the shelf. The Nighttimes have emerged from the shadows with a long awaited full-length album and a renewed passion for their craft.
Their latest album "Bury Me In My Favorite Shirt", produced by guitarist Jonny Taylor (Beacon AV Lab), is a collection of long-time fan favorites. The album romps through some of the band’s heaviest thumping garage rock to date before diving into thick textural psychedelia and unique melodic, post-punk exploration. The songs on BMIMFS cover some of the difficult societal issues of our time, delivered through the band’s irreverent sensibility—as underscored by the album title and cover art.
The Nighttimes are currently recording a pair of singles which are scheduled for release in fall 2024, and booking a series of shows to coincide with the release.
